Terms Of Service:

By paying for the product you are granted a license to download my images with the screensaver client on one (1) computer. The license entitles you to 20 minute refreshes.

This is equivalent to 2190 image refreshes on a computer running the software 24/7, totalling approx. 330MB of image data each month.

The latest Earthquake, Weather satellite, Hurricane, Volcano, Satellite (including the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle, if in orbit ) Day & Night and Lunar data are displayed in the screensaver, subject to availability.

Gross violations of this TOS can lead to cancellation of the service without refund. This should not happen unless the software is handed to third parties without authorization (software piracy).

Refund Policy:
No refunds.

The screensaver is supplied as is, and no claims are made as to the availability of service, accuracy or completeness of the displayed information. Data  presented in the screensaver are intended to convey only general information.  Don't make life- or death decisions or decisions with regard to the protection of property based on the displayed information (especially with regard to hurricane data).

The images used in the screensaver are licensed to you under the Creative Commons license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd-nc/1.0/). It is strictly prohibited to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify in any way the software copyrighted by Erich Habich.

The Licensee agrees that the Author shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, incurred by the Licensee or any third party, even if the author has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Handy tip: The screensavers place an icon on your desktop for instant access to the most recently updated pictures.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SCREENSAVERS:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98 / Windows ME / Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows Vista

Network:
Ideally an "always-on" Internet connection. The screensaver tries to update at the start and then every 20 minutes when running. If it cannot connect to update you may see a blank screen (or an older picture until you are connected again).

Screen Resolution:
Classic Screensaver: Native 1024x768 pixel, but will easily adjust to any lower screen resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio.

Widescreen Saver: from 1024x768 pixel upwards, any aspect ratio.

Instructions:
PRESS THE "ESC" KEY TO EXIT THE SCREENSAVER.

Should the screensaver show a blank or black screen, then please empty the Internet Explorer cache.

You can browse the Internet when in screensaver mode. To return to the previous page, press the "BACKSPACE" key on your keyboard.

Avoid clicking on Quicktime Multimedia links whilst browsing with the screensaver. It can cause the screensaver to crash. If you click on a link which opens a new page you need to exit the screensaver before you can access it.
